Good Morning Friends,
Although this title seems to point to "the Law" it is really mostly "the Promise". Yes - "test it". Yes - "dare to assume," but mostly "Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you"; "If you know who you really are, humanity delights to do your will"; and "Jesus Christ is the identity of every child born". Neville emphasizes that we are "one grand brotherhood" and that there is only God in this world. Our purpose on this earth is to remember the glory that we gave up to come into this world.
Some religions believe in a pre-existence - where we realized that we could not continue to grow until we had the "earthly" experience - and where we were born to earth so that we could get that experience. Neville put's it another way by saying that God put himself here and divided himself into us so that He and We could experience this - but we could never fail. We were not sent here to succeed or fail. We were sent here to gain experience and expand God. We were sent here to learn to create. We were sent to learn to rely on God, get to know Him and return to Him - and expand his "Oneness".
It saddens me that some people think that God would let us fail and never be able to return to his presence. That some of us are not loved enough to be forgiven. Some people think that we will be separated from Him in the end because of what we have experienced here. Didn't he say: "This is my work and my glory, to bring to past the immortality and eternal life of man." That doesn't sound like a God of failures to me.
I didn't put any comments in the pdf of this lecture. I just highlighted the passages that made me think - expanded my consciousness (the questions were deleted)- Thanks for reading - love GlendaA (original pdf -- highlighted lecture pdf)
